Personal Watercraft
A personal watercraft (PWC) is a recreational watercraft that the rider sits or stands on, rather than inside of, as in a boat. They are often referred by the names WaveRunner, Jet Ski, or Sea-Doo by Yamaha, Kawasaki, and Bombardier, respectively.
Generally a watercraft is designed to accommodate two or three people, but at times even four-passenger models are made too. Stand-up PWCs accommodate single riders only. The credit of inventing them goes to Clayton Jacobsen II of Arizona, who was a motocross enthusiast before he invented PWCs.
